The Biomix Research & Production Centre operates under the Department of Plant Pathology, College of Agriculture, VNMKV Parbhani. It develops, produces and distributes "Biomix" — a consortium of beneficial, eco-friendly microorganisms used for plant disease management, pest management and boosting crop growth across the Marathwada region and beyond.
What began as a small departmental initiative in 2010–11 has grown into one of Maharashtra's leading bioagent production units — now reaching farmers well beyond the state's borders, including Gujarat and Karnataka.
Deliver affordable, eco-friendly bioagents that protect crops and soil, while keeping research and production rooted in farmer need.

"I travel almost two hours to collect Biomix from the Parbhani unit because it's worth the trip. Prices are fair, and the quality of the culture has stayed consistent every season I've bought it."
"What I appreciate is that this comes from the university itself. When I have a problem in the field, I know I can ask the department's staff and get an answer grounded in actual research."
